We hope that you all are doing well this fall and are successfully completing your studies. We have some news and updates to share with you.

Good to know...

Our friends at Sound Servant Ministries have been building a bridge between churches in Canada and the under-resourced congregations of the Cuban Assemblies of God for over 28 years. With ongoing projects ranging from Providing Visually Impaired Walking Canes to Church Restoration, this ministry is a great blessing to the Cuban Church. Extensions no more...

The Global University Academic Affairs Committee voted to discontinue course extensions for undergraduate course enrollments starting January 1, 2019. This better aligns Global with other accredited Universities and their academic practices and policies. Note, current enrollments in progress are NOT affected – students may extend, if needed. Neither are courses enrollments with a start date between now and the end of this year. In addition, any students who enroll in a new course with a start date between now and the end of this calendar year will still have the option to extend their course completion date for those new courses.

GU CAN!! Scholarship...

At Global University Canada we encourage our students to pursue excellence. In 2016 we began offering our new GU CAN!! Scholarship program for those students who meet the following requirements:

• Fully complete (including all assignments and exam) a course within 4 months (120 days) of enrollment.
• Receive a final grade of B+ or better.
• Enroll in your next course within 3 weeks (21 days) of completing your final exam.

Each student that meets these requirements will receive a $100.00 GU CAN!! Scholarship towards their very next course.

This GU CAN Scholarship means that you can save significantly on your Area of Study Program.

• Up to $1,400.00 on a Certificate Program
• Up to $3,200.00 on a Diploma
• Up to $4,267.00 on a Bachelor’s degree

New Information Regarding Assignments...

In an effort to streamline the marking of assignments we are changing the way the assignment names are formatted. Starting immediately assignment names MUST be in these example formats:

• SMITH-BIB3013-SLR-20JAN19.pdf

Reminder: In order to upload your assignment papers please create an account at the Upload Facility (click ASSIGNMENTS button) using your student number as the username. An activation link and a unique password will be emailed to you. You must click the activation link in that email to activate your account before you can log in.
