Christmas Greetings to Global Students and families.
As the year winds down and the holiday lights shimmer, we pause to celebrate the greatest gift ever given—the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Just as the wise men followed the star to find Him, may this Christmas lead you to moments of peace, joy, and reflection.
In the midst of exams and assignments, may you find comfort in the knowledge that God is with you, guiding your path with wisdom and grace. As you gather with friends, old and new, may the love of Christ bind you together in a community of faith, friendship, and support.
May this Christmas season fill your hearts with hope and remind you of the infinite possibilities that lie ahead. Praying that you will have a joyous and blessed Christmas, and a New Year filled with God's abundant grace.
We welcome Rev. Sandro DiSabatino to the position of Dean of Students. Sandro has been serving as an adjunct faculty member of GU for the past couple of years and now he will also be part of the leadership team ministering in the areas of student life, academic support and program development.
We also welcome Beth Sweatman to the Global student services team starting December 2, 2024. Beth and Gloria look forward to caring for your administrative needs in 2025. Beth has her B.A. from Tyndale and serves as a children’s pastor at Crossfire Assembly.
Christmas Blessings to you and yours.
Rev. Gary Empey/National Director
